Live cattle market with little business at the beginning of this week. Many companies are still waiting for market movements in the coming days to position themselves and define their strategies. In general, there is not an abundance of supply, but with the slow flow of meat, the volume of cattle available is sufficient to meet industry demand.
Payment of salaries is about to occur and, so far, there has been no sign of improvement in meat sales by industries. Either retailers did not go out shopping to fill their stocks, or else business was so reduced to the point of not changing, for now, the direction of the meat market. The wholesale market for bone-in meat is stable. Married cattle from castrated animals are still priced at R$9.29/kg. Since the beginning of the year, prices have fallen by 7.2%.
