Wheat traded on North American stock exchanges closed higher this Tuesday, July 11th. According to TF Agroeconomic Consulting, unlike soybeans and corn, wheat had no influence on market expectations regarding the WASDE report (World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates).

“The North American and European markets are also closely following the negotiations to maintain the Black Sea grain corridor agreement, as well as the developments in the Russian attack on Odessa, which damaged a Ukrainian grain terminal, within the zone where the ceasefire is imposed”, comments TF senior analyst, Luiz Carlos Pacheco.
NEW ATTACK OF 22 DRONES FROM RUSSIA
Overnight, Russia sent a fleet of 22 drones to attack Odessa, Ukraine. Ukraine's air defense neutralized the attack, although the destroyed drones caused small fires in the port (but damaged a grain terminal). There were no casualties and only minor damage to infrastructure was reported.
