Through a note, the union demanded the change in the bill of lading for the cereals and fertilizers sector.

Since midnight this Tuesday, the Single Union of Cargo Transporters of the Argentine Republic (Siunfletra) launched a forceful measure that affects the main accesses to ports. “Our union has been proposing for months that land transport of cargo be in an emergency situation, among other issues, due to low negotiated rates and the absence of state control to regulate unfair competition,” the union's general secretary told Télam , Guild, Mario Pereyra.

The Santa Fe Highway Safety Agency reported that there are closures on the Rosario Santa Fe highway. “Due to a measure of force initiated by grain cargo transporters, there is an intense traffic disruption at kilometer 19 San Lorenzo, kilometer 30 Villa La Ribera and kilometer 51 Maciel”.

In addition, the cuts are maintained at the intersection of route 34 and A012, route 91 and route 11, route 10 and route 11, route 11 and A012. “Cargo trucks are detained, but allow the passage of fuel, passengers, live cattle and light vehicles,” the agency said. The strike aims to give visibility to the sector's demand for an improvement in the tax rate, which is met, and a change in the bill of lading. They also demand more beaches and labor rights. Siunfletra's decision is supported by the Argentine Confederation of Transporters.

Through a note, the union demanded the change in the bill of lading for the cereals and fertilizers sector. On the other hand, it denounced unfair competition, as agreed tariffs are not paid. On the other hand, they targeted multinational grain exporting companies. They pointed out that concentrated sectors set the transport fare.
