Soy continues to decline in the US

The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 1.50 cents in the November/17 contract on Monday (21.08), closing at US$ 9.3625 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity maturities on the CBOT also closed the session with devaluations between 0.75 and 5.00 points.

The week opened with losses in the main futures prices in the North American soybean market, pressured by the improvement in the weather in the main producing regions of the United States. The next two weeks are expected to maintain this regularity in rainfall over the Midwest, which does not leave much room for price recovery in the short term.
