Soybeans move little in Brazil

Even with the soybean volatility On the Chicago Stock Exchange, the market was stable in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, according to information released by TF Agroeconômica. On the local market, prices were R$ 143.50 for delivery in July/August, with payment on 08/15, and R$ 145.00 for delivery in August/September, with payment on 09/06. Furthermore, in the interior, prices followed the references of each market, with R$ 136.50 in Cruz Alta, according to the consultancy.

On the other hand, prices have remained stagnant in Santa Catarina, with little news. In the state of Santa Catarina, soybean prices have remained relatively stable throughout the week, with all regions showing a more or less uniform reaction to market movements. According to the consultancy, the price at the port was R$131.00, and in Chapecó it was R$117.00.

Slowly contained movements

Paraná had few movements and also did not register any deals. “No specific deals or events were reported within the state, but it is known that since prices were able to remain at the same levels, deals continued to flow slowly. Regarding soybeans from the 2023/24 harvest, the purchase idea was around R$132.00 per bag CIF Ponta Grossa,” he indicates.

Prices fall by R$1.00/bag in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, which has few transactions. “Prices are falling slightly, few transactions are being made, but movements continue to be mild. We haven’t had much news yet, most companies are still closing their warehouses in search of better prices, and today was a day of profit-taking in Chicago, so little was seen in the Brazilian market in general,” he reports.

Meanwhile, prices are falling in Mato Grosso. “Campo Verde: R$ 127.40 (-2.10). Lucas do Rio Verde: R$ 124.90 (-0.90). Nova Mutum: R$ 125.40 (-0.60). Primavera do Leste: R$ 128.00 (-2.00). Rondonópolis: R$ 129.80 (-2.70). Sorriso: R$ 124.30 (-0.60)”, concludes the consultancy.
