In the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the soybean market did not move yesterday, as prices did not meet farmers' requests, even though they rose, according to information released by TF Agroeconomic. “For delivery in October and receipt in April/May 2022, they came in at R$184.50 CIF Porto, for the best time. Stone prices were worth R$157.00 in Panambi, maintaining previous prices. In the lot market, as can be seen in the table alongside, prices stabilized, maintaining the same levels as the previous day”, he comments.

In Santa Catarina prices rise, but the producer is absent from the market again. “The market continues for another extremely calm day in Santa Catarina, with an almost absolute lack of business. The values improved a little compared to the previous day, with soybeans going at R$175.00 spot and varying up to R$174.50 for November 30th, but the producer retreated to observe, leaving the day with nothing in sales for soybeans”, he adds.
In Paraná, prices experience small drops and producers withdraw. “The producer, already very defensive, ends up being left out of the market. Lots from Ponta Grossa and Paranaguá increased by around R$1.00/bag compared to the previous day, as can be seen in the table alongside. At these prices, however, and after frustration with Chicago, the negotiated values did not exceed the minimum expected on the railroad. Only specific volumes at values below the batches”, he indicates.
In Mato Grosso do Sul, producers participated more in the market. “With the strong presence of trading companies, the market performed well at the established prices. The day ended with great sales, around 35,000 tons of soybeans were traded, an unexpected volume at a time like this”, he concludes.
