The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 11.25 cents in the March/17 contract on Friday (17.02), closing at US$ 10.325 per bushel. The May/17 contract fell by 11.50 Dollar cents, while the July/17 contract depreciated by 11.00 Dollar cents.
The North American soybean market recorded another day of profit-taking, causing losses in the main futures prices. Investors continue to liquidate positions, with the prospect of a full harvest this 2016/17 season – which will be confirmed by the good weather for field work in South America.
