The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 0.25 cents of Dollar in the January/16 contract on Monday (10/31), reaching US$ 10.1175 per bushel. The contracts for March/17 and May/17 did not show any variation.
The North American soybean market had a session of stability in the main futures prices at the opening of the week, pressured by the macroeconomic scenario. The day saw a rise in the dollar and a sharp drop in oil, which ended up holding down oilseed prices, despite demand support.
