According to the daily survey by Cepea (Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics, from USP), soybean prices in the Brazilian physical market closed on Monday (13.04) with average prices of soybeans in Brazilian ports on wheels for export rising 1.37% at the ports, for R$ 101.44/bag (compared to R$ 100.07/bag the previous day). As a result, the accumulated gain in ports this month was 0.23%.
According to T&F Consultoria Agroeconomic, average soybean prices rose despite the absence of new business with China and the drop of 1.07% on the Chicago Stock Exchange: “Without, however, recovering last week's prices. Inland, average prices also rose, around 0.48%, to R$ 93.87/bag, against R$ 93.42 the previous day. The accumulated result for the month also became positive at 0.03%”.

Available soybean prices in Rio Grande do Sul regained the real and half lost at the end of last week, returning R$ 102.00/bag for April, R$ 103.00 for May and R$ 104.00 for June in harbor. Inland, prices also rose by one real/bag to R$ 97.00 in Cruz Alta, R$ 96.50 in Passo Fundo and R$ 96.50 in Ijuí for April. “Farmers continue to sell at these prices”, according to a local broker revealed to T&F.
But, in the lot market, only specific lots, this Monday. The counter prices, paid to farmers also for R$ 88.00 in Cruz Alta, R$ 89.75 in Ibirubá, R$ 89.00 in Júlio de Castilhos, Santo Ângelo, São Luiz Gonzaga, R$ 88.50 in Ijuí, R$ 89 .50 in Passo Fundo.
In Paraná, prices were around R$ 90.00 on the over-the-counter market for farmers in Campos Gerais. On the market for lots R$ 97.00 for May in Ponta Grossa. At the port of Paranaguá R$ 102 for the end of May, R$ 103.00 for the end of June. For the 2021 harvest, the price in Ponta Grossa closed today at R$ 95.00/bag, delivery and payment in April.
