According to data from the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services, Brazil exported 111.93 thousand metric tons of fresh beef in September. It was the fourth month in a row with an increase in shipments year-on-year. Compared to September 2016, the increase was 20.3%.
Revenue was US$471.44 million, an increase of 21.2% on an annual basis. In 2017 (January to September), compared to the same period in 2016, volume and revenue increased by 4.3% and 10.1%, respectively.
Beef exports continued to show good results in September.
