Moscow has repeatedly spoken out against the current terms of the deal, claiming that its side is not being heard.

This Sunday (23), Dmitry Medvedev, vice-president of the Russian Security Council, said he will terminate the Black Sea grains agreement if the G7 bans exports to the Eurasian country.

Japanese agency Kyodo reported last week that G7 countries are considering a near-total ban on exports to Russia.

The West imposed several sanctions on the Russians due to the invasion of Ukraine. Currently, products can be sold to Russia, with the exception of some that are included in a list of restrictions.

Threats to disrupt the Black Sea grain agreement are not coming just now. Moscow has repeatedly spoken out against the current terms of the deal, claiming that its side is not being heard.

The Kremlin says that if Western countries do not lift restrictions on Russian exports of agricultural products and inputs, it will abandon the initiative ahead of schedule – May 18.
