Agribusiness in the state of Bahia has been growing and consolidating itself as one of the most promising sectors and of great economic and social importance. In agriculture, the state is the largest grain producer in the Northeast Region in soybean, cotton, and corn crops. In terms of agribusiness exports, Bahia participates with 13% of the total exported by Brazil, occupying 8th place.
In order to visit customers and update information with a focus on cotton oil, biodiesel and soap producers, our collaborators Tiago Vicente and Heitor Pereira took a tour of the northeastern state, visiting around 15 companies in 6 days.
