The presidents of the state Agriculture Federations participated in a virtual meeting, this Tuesday (1st), to discuss the impacts of tax reform on agriculture. The meeting was coordinated by the president of the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA), João Martins.
The president of the CNA highlighted that the proposals being analyzed in the National Congress are of concern to rural producers and that the entity has been carrying out studies to show the “extremely harmful” impacts that the changes could bring to the sector.
João Martins reinforced the need to mobilize state Agriculture Federations and rural unions so that this information reaches federal deputies and senators.
