The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 5.25 cents in March/17 contracts on Friday (17.02), closing at US$ 3.6825 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT closed the session with devaluations between 5.00 and 5.50 points.
The North American corn market recorded the third day of consecutive drops in the main futures prices, pressured by a profit-taking movement before this Monday's holiday (20.02). The scenario will gain another component of possible price guidance this week, with the announcements of the first area projections for the next season.
