After completing the soybean crop evaluation stage, the Harvest Rally continues this month with events for producers. The largest survey on Brazil's grain harvest will take place in Porto Nacional/TO, this Monday, April 24th, at 7pm, at A7 Eventos & Lounge, at the event with Agroconsult's analyst partner, André Debastiani, who will evaluate the scenario for the grain market in Brazil and will present the results obtained in the field by the Rally. There will also be technical lectures with sponsors, a raffle of gifts and a cocktail party.
In the field between January 16th and March 24th, the 2017 Harvest Rally verified that the combination of good weather conditions with the intensive use of technology created the ideal scenario for the development of the largest soybean harvest ever recorded in the country. soybeans are expected to reach 113.3 million tons, a volume 18% higher than that recorded in the last harvest, of 96.3 million tons. For the planted area, the outlook is for an increase of 2%, from 33.3 million hectares to 33.9 million hectares. In Tocantins, estimated production is 3 million tons with an increase of 61% in productivity, reaching 52 bags per hectare.
The Rally will return to the field in May to evaluate the second harvest corn. Three teams will check the conditions of the cereal crops. Between May 8th and June 9th, the technicians will be in Mato Grosso, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul and Paraná. In total, during the 2017 Harvest Rally, 11 teams will travel a total of approximately 95 thousand kilometers. The event stage will take place in the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Bahia, Tocantins, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul.
