Urea is the most widely used fertilizer in world agriculture as a source of nitrogen, and is characterized as a solid granulated or tableted fertilizer with a concentration of around 45% of nitrogen.
It is used in the composition of humectants, moisturizers in cosmetic creams and ointments, production of agricultural fertilizers, in livestock feed, as a stabilizer for explosives and in the production of resins and medicines (sedatives, hypnotics, etc.).
