Type 1 Castor Oil

It is obtained by crushing the “ricinus communis” seeds, popularly known as castor beans. It is a clear yellowish oil, which gives rise to various oleochemical products, such as; 12 hydroxy stearic acid, ricinoleic acid, hydrogenated, blown, epoxidized, polymerized, ethoxylated oil, among others.

Regarding its direct applications, we can highlight; waterproofing, glues and adhesives, cosmetics, printing inks, resins and coatings, surfactants, hygiene and cleaning products, drilling fluids, lubricants, civil construction, among others.
