Shea butter is extracted from the nuts of the Karite tree, native to West Africa. Rich in vitamins A and E and fatty acids, it has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, softening and moisturizing properties, benefiting both the skin and scalp.

It is widely used in lip, hand, body and hair care products. Its color ranges from white to pale yellow.
