Corn germ is obtained through semi-moist degermination of corn kernels. Because it is rich in lipids (up to 140% more than corn) it is used in the composition of rations for cattle, pigs, sheep, poultry, PETs and fish, which helps in gaining weight in cattle and increasing the production of milk.
