The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 2.50 cents in December/16 contracts on Wednesday (28.09), closing at US$ 3.2925 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions closed the session with devaluations between 2.50 and 2.75 points.
The recovery did not last long, and the North American corn market once again recorded drops in the main futures prices. The forecast is for dry and mild weather in the largest producing regions, which makes it possible to resume harvesting the 2016/17 harvest – which already exceeds 15% of the projected area.
