Soybean price stabilizes in the US

The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 2.25 cents in the November/17 contract on Thursday (07/09), closing at US$ 9.6875 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity maturities on the CBOT also closed the session with devaluations between 1.25 and 2.50 points.

After strong gains recorded at the opening of the week, the North American soybean market opened the week again with slight losses in the main futures prices. The prospect of more rain in large quantities in the producing regions was not a strong enough factor to hold back the highs of the previous days, and there are no prospects for new significant highs in the short term.
