Mato Grosso had few registered movements and a mild high in Lucas do Rio Verde.
The soybean market in the state of Rio Grande do Sul had its last day with immobile prices, with no business, according to information released by TF Agroeconomic. “As mentioned in previous reports, the soybean market in Mato Grosso do Sul has shown fluctuations, with small drops, symbolic increases and maintenance, without a consistent movement. For more than a month, prices have been following this trend, although sometimes they vary for a few days, but always return to previous levels”, he comments.
“Today’s prices show a moment of immobility, even though devaluation should have occurred if what happened in the international market was strictly followed. What happens is clear and is repeated across all the positions studied in this report: internal demand prevents this logic from being applied correctly. In this scenario, many producers continue not to set prices and focus on harvesting other grains. Let's look at soybean values: Dourados at R$ 170.00. Campo Grande at R$ 170.00. Maracaju at R$ 169.00. Sidrolândia at R$ 168.00. Chapadão do Sul at R$ 167.00”, he adds.

Mato Grosso had few registered movements and a mild high in Lucas do Rio Verde. “In general, price stability in the State of Mato Grosso has been maintained, with small divergences depending on the region. Strong demand has managed to keep prices stable even in the face of negative pressures. Although the dollar has depreciated again and soybean by-products have slightly lost their value in Chicago prices, the market is responding to demand with greater intensity, making it impossible for these trends to have any impact on the region”, he indicates.
“In this scenario, some producers take advantage of the peaceful period to start harvesting, which continues to progress gradually. Current prices are as follows: Campo Verde at R$ 170.00, Lucas do Rio Verde at R$ 150.80 (up from R$ 1.30), Nova Mutum at R$ 150.00, Primavera do Leste at R$ 168.00 ( loss of R$ 2.00), Rondonópolis at R$ 170.00 (no change) and Sorriso at R$ 149.00”, he concludes.
