Paraná has a day marked by good price developments, while business remains slow
In the soybean market in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the port is experiencing an appreciation of R$ 2.00/bag, while business remains slow, according to information released by TF Agroeconomic. “The market remains quite slow, with buyers at the port competing with factories for the rare offers available, so business remains very difficult, resulting in minimal maintenance volumes at best”, he comments.
“In the port, the best moment brought prices of R$ 191.00 to mid-October, marking an appreciation of R$ 2.00/bag. In the interior we see partial appreciations of up to R$ 1.00/bag, partial, as in the case of Ijuí, there was no movement and the price continued at R$ 184.00. As for the other positions, increases of R$ 1.00/bag were seen, with this, Passo Fundo was at R$ 184.00, Cruz Alta at R$ 185.00 and Santa Rosa at R$ 184.00”, he adds.

In Santa Catarina, the port is experiencing an appreciation of R$ 1.00/bag, with no business. “Another day completely stopped in SC in terms of business, but at least some price appreciation was seen at the port, with São Francisco do Sul reaching R$ 189.00 after rising from R$ 1.00/bag. Furthermore, little information has arrived from the southernmost positions in Brazil, the flow of business remains low and concerns about the climate remain high, the plantation is delayed”, he indicates.
Paraná has a day marked by good price developments, while business remains slow. “Paraná continues without a focus on business, with most of the efforts remaining in planting, which continues steadily, but full of concerns related to weather and delays, experts consider that at the moment the south of Brazil is the region most at risk in relation to 22/23 harvest, obviously the idea of losses and delays is not considered as relevant as what was seen in the 21/22 harvest”, he concludes.
