According to a survey carried out by Ocepar's Technical Development Management (Getec), based on data from the Central Bank, of the R$ 225.59 billion announced by the federal government for the 2019/20 harvest, R$ 140.4 billion were invested up to the month of March.
The amount represents 62% of the total. The majority of the resources, that is, 28%, originated from rural savings; 26% in mandatory features; 25% in resources with free fees; 9% in equalizable BNDES, 11% in constitutional funds and 1% in other sources.
Cooperatives – According to Getec's analysis, in the period from July 2019 to March 2020, Brazilian cooperatives raised R$ 18.71 billion, the majority of which was allocated to industrialization, funding and marketing. Cooperatives in Paraná raised R$ 7.75 billion, mainly in industrialization and funding.
Total fundraising – The survey also shows that total fundraising in rural credit policy, in March of the current harvest (2019/2020), was higher than in March of the three previous harvests (2016/2017, 2017/2018 , and 2018/19).
