According to Jox Assessoria Agropecuária, the growth in offers is evident and, as a result, sales are competitive at retail. With the need to carry out promotions to increase the flow of merchandise, the pressure for better marketing conditions has predominated. Therefore, the market must be well contested and can once again influence prices.
For now, the average price throughout August is 5.9% below that reached in the same period last year. Year-to-date, although it has been falling uninterruptedly, it is still positive at 6.5%.
