Once again, the winner of the Maximum Soy Productivity Challenge 2015/2016 harvest, promoted by the Brazilian Soy Strategic Committee (CESB), was a producer who used Orkestra™SC in his crop. The grand champion of the 2013/2014 harvest edition, rural producer Alexandre Seitz, used Orkestra™SC and obtained a productivity of 117.30 bags per hectare.
In this edition, João Carlos da Cruz, from the Lageado farm – Buri/SP, harvested 120 bags per hectare. To achieve this result, he received assistance from BASF, which supported and guided him from start to finish, in addition to using the product developed by it.
CESB received more than 4,400 applications, from 17 different states, for the Maximum Productivity Challenge. In addition to producer João Carlos, the national champion, two other winners used the fungicide OrkestraTMSC, Standak®Top and other products from the BASF line.
Orkestra™SC is a fungicide indicated for the control of Asian rust, target spot, anthracnose, brown spot and powdery mildew, responsible for a loss of up to 10 bags per hectare in soybean crops. Therefore, combined with good agricultural practices, it contributes to the high levels of productivity in soybean crops in Brazil.
