Nortox registered the herbicide Glyphosate 720 WG, manufactured by the Chinese company Jiangsu Good Harvest Weien Agrochemical. The approval of the request was published on May 18, 2017 in the Official Gazette of the Union, with the approval of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock Supply, under number 6117. The product is also already included in the AgrolinkFito System.
The product is indicated for use in cotton, rice, coffee, sugar cane, citrus, eucalyptus, corn, pine and soybean crops. It is a non-selective herbicide with post-emergent action, presented as water-dispersible granules.
According to Nortox, due to its systemic properties, Glyphosate 720 WG allows total control of weeds, both mono and dicotyledonous, which are affected by herbicidal action not only in the aerial part, but also in the roots. Its use is indicated in post-emergence applications of crops and weeds for chemical weeding of coffee, citrus and sugar cane crops.
It is also indicated for the control of weeds in total area application in the pre-planting of the crop and in the post-emergence of weeds for direct planting of cotton, rice, corn and soybeans. Its use is also recommended in chemical weeding to eradicate vegetation in pre-planting applications and between the rows in a directed jet of Pinus and Eucalyptus crops. There is also a recommendation for Eucalyptus regrowth for renewal of planting areas.
