A pioneer in the production of agricultural machinery for rice farming, New Holland Agriculture, a CNH Industrial brand, participates in the 29th Official Opening of the Rice Harvest in Rio Grande do Sul, an event that takes place between the 20th and 22nd of February, in Capão do Leão , a city located 24 kilometers from Pelotas.
The TC5090 Rice harvester, launched in August last year, will be on display at the brand's stand. The machine has a hybrid system, made up of a cylinder and double rotor, and technology that makes it lightweight, high-performance and resistant, fundamental aspects to face the swampy environment, with a greater mass of straw and abrasive materials, characteristic of rice farming.
The TC5090 Arroz has a nominal and maximum power of 258 hp and 270 hp, respectively; storage capacity of 7,200 liters; discharge speed of 63 liters per second; 20 or 25 foot platform; 3.90 m high; and 3.40 m distance between the axles. The unique abrasiveness of rice, which causes a lot of wear on products due to scraping, was also taken into consideration: all parts of the machine that come into contact with the rice were reinforced and had a special treatment to provide the rice farmer with better performance.
As it is a hybrid machine, with cylinder and double rotor, the TC5090 Arroz has the best of both technologies. The characteristic cylinder of the TC is responsible for threshing (removing the grain from the pod) so that the rotors separate the grain, which goes to the bulk carrier, and the straw, which is expelled. Along with this harvesting capacity is also the FPT Industrial electronic engine (MAR-1/Tier 3), which added more economy, strength and stability to the machine, that is, even in adverse conditions, the engine maintains the stability of the industrial system. of the machine. The brand also brings tractors from the T6 and T7 lines to the shelves.
