The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 2.00 cents on the Chicago Grain Exchange on Tuesday (31/01) in March/17 contracts, closing at US$ 3.5975 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT closed the session with devaluations between 1.75 and 2.00 points.
The North American corn market had a session of gains in the main futures prices. After general apprehension about the possibility of losing the Mexican market (the main buyer of cereal from the United States), there was a rush to accelerate sales to the Latin country.
