The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 0.50 cents of Dollar in May/17 contracts on Friday (24.03), closing at US$ 3.5625 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT also closed the session with devaluations between 0.50 and 0.75 points.
The North American corn market had slight losses in the main futures prices at the end of the week. In addition to the full harvest supply in South America, the market is now turning its attention to the first official report on cereal planting this season in the United States, which will come next Friday (31.03).
