The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 1.00 cents on the Chicago Grain Exchange on Monday (13.02) in March/17 contracts, closing at US$ 3.755 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT closed the session with valuations between 0.25 and 1.00 points.
The North American corn market recorded a session of slight gains in the main futures prices, supported by heated international demand. According to the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), 1,255.893 million tons were exported in the week ending February 9th – a volume that was above expectations.
