This Friday (16), four more cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza were confirmed in Brazil, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) platform that updates confirmed cases in the country.
These new cases were registered in Espírito Santo, which now has 24 occurrences of the disease. Cases of the disease, to date, are restricted to wild birds, with no detections on commercial farms, nor on meat or laying farms, according to the MAPA website.

Espírito Santo: 24 outbreaks of bird flu;
Rio de Janeiro: 8;

Rio Grande do Sul: 1
13 investigations of suspected cases in progress to date.
