After returning from the mission of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) to China, this Friday (31), Minister Carlos Fávaro announced that President Lula's trip to the Asian country in the coming days will bring even more opportunities to Brazilian agribusiness with the signing of four agreements for the sector.
“Important negotiations that we have dreamed of for many years must come to fruition with the presence of President Lula in China”, highlighted the minister. One of them is digital certification, which should make processing faster and more reliable, reducing bureaucracy for Brazilian exporters.

According to Fávaro, the agreement will bring an important gain to the sector, as well as the one already signed this week that allows direct operations between the real and the Chinese currency, without the need for dollarization.
Opening the market for new products from Brazil is also one of the actions initiated by the Mapa delegation. To sell fresh grapes, for example, the Chinese government will carry out virtual visits to properties, demonstrating a sign of credibility and offering faster options for negotiations.
There are also positive projections for the expansion of corn sales, which began in recent months, and incentives for the export of pork and other products, such as sesame and pecan nuts.
