In the fourth week of June 2023, the Brazilian trade balance had a surplus of US$ 1.374 billion and a trade flow of US$ 11.417 billion, the result of exports worth US$ 6.395 billion and imports of US$ 5.021 billion. Data were made available this Monday (26), by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services (MDIC).
In the month, exports total US$ 23.496 billion and imports, US$ 15.414 billion, with a positive balance of US$ 8.081 billion and trade flow of US$ 38.91 billion.

In the year, exports totaled US$ 159.555 billion and imports, US$ 116.552 billion, with a surplus of US$ 43.003 billion and trade flow of US$ 276.107 billion.
In foreign sales, if the averages up to the fourth week (US$ 1.468 billion) are compared with those of June of the previous year (US$ 1.559 billion), there was a drop of 5.8%. In relation to imports, there was a drop of 15.2% when comparing the averages up to the fourth week (US$ 963.41 million) with that of the month of June 2022 (US$ 1.135 billion). Thus, in the period under comparison, the daily average of the trade flow totaled US$ 2.431 US$ billion and the balance had a recorded daily average of US$ 505.08 million, which represents a drop of 9.8% in the trade flow.
