The United States exported 1,630.581 million tons in the week ending January 30. This is what the new foreign sales bulletin released by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) points out last Monday (30.01).
The volume was above that projected by the market, which projected something around 900 thousand to 1.2 million tons. The result also surpassed the 1,294.769 million tons shipped in the previous week.
The USA already has 38,786.985 million tons exported this season. The volume is 17.59% higher than that recorded at the same time in the previous harvest (32,984.636 million tons).
