Even with the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, cotton exports are on track to be records in 2020, the National Supply Company (Conab) projected this Tuesday (10). Until October this year, the total exported was 1.4 million tons, 31% more than the accumulated figure for the same period last year.

In relation to corn, for the current harvest year, the export forecast was maintained at 34.5 million tons. Still in October, shipments were 5.1 million tons, a reduction of 14.4% compared to the same period last year.
For soybeans, the expectation of sales to the foreign market is around 82.7 million tons for this year, with 81.4 million tons having already been exported in the period from January to October. For next year, around 85 million tons are expected, which would represent an increase of 2.78%.
