In 2021, the company produced 400,133 tons of potash-based products, reaching a turnover of R$ 119.3 million, 239% higher than in 2020. Last month, the company informed the Market that it will double the production capacity of the second plant . Under construction, this unit should begin operating in 2022.
Engineering studies for the third unit are expected to be completed in the second half of this year. The work is scheduled to take place from July 2023 and will play an important role in helping to reduce Brazil's dependence on imported potash.

Brazilian potassium is sustainable and does not use chemicals in the manufacture of fertilizers, which are chlorine-free, helping to preserve microorganisms important for soil quality, unlike imported potassium chloride. The product is also approved for organic farming.

Verde Agritech currently has one patent granted and eight awaiting approval. The statement to the Market also details the proprietary technologies developed by the company that will be activated in the new plant.
