The Goiana Agency for Technical Assistance, Rural Extension and Agricultural Research (Emater) will hold the Table Cassava Culture Field Day on June 3rd (Saturday), in Águas Lindas de Goiás (GO). The Field Day is aimed at rural producers in the municipality and technicians from Emater's Planalto Regional Unit. The event aims to present four varieties of table cassava with high productivity, in addition to inaugurating an observation unit to monitor the results of the best variety that adapts to the region.
During the event, the public will learn about management, soil preparation, production and marketing of table cassava. Registration is free and will be done on site.
Partnership
Banco do Brasil, the Rural Workers Union of Águas Lindas de Goiás and the City Hall are partners in organizing the Field Day. The Mixed Cooperative of Family Agriculture Producers (Compaf) and the Association of Small Rural Producers in the municipality also collaborate with the event.
