The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 8.75 cents on Friday (02.09) in the November/16 contract, closing at US$ 9.525 per bushel. The January/17 contract rose 8.50 cents in the Dollar – the same appreciation as the March/17 contract.
The North American soybean market opened September with gains in the main futures prices, maintaining a trend already registered in the previous session. The drop in the Dollar has made the United States oilseed more attractive to international buyers, while other suppliers, including Brazil, are going through moments of uncertainty.
