Devaluation of beef cattle in São Paulo, but without excess supply

The scenario of restricted cattle supply continues, as well as downward pressure in São Paulo. There was a devaluation last Wednesday (24/8) and the reference price for finished males was R$149.50/@, cash.

Slaughter schedules are not tight, in general, but there are errors and a reduced volume of cattle.

Purchase offers at lower values occur, but business stalls.

In general, the availability of finished animals remains limited.

In the wholesale bone-in beef market, prices are stable, with modest stocks, which can maintain prices, even without an expected improvement in demand.
