The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 0.25 cents of Dollar in December/16 contracts on Wednesday (31.09), closing at US$ 3.1550 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions closed the session with devaluations between 0.25 and 2.50 points.
The North American corn market ended the month of August with slight losses in the main futures prices, after a session that threatened to bring gains. The good news of the day was that international demand remains strong, with the announcement of the sale of another 275 thousand tons to Mexico (2015/16 harvest).
