Image: PixabayA survey carried out by DATAGRO until last Friday (25) shows that the soybean harvest in Brazil reached 79.2% of the area projected for the 2021/22 harvest, an increase of 4.9 percentage points compared to the previous week.
In the same period of the previous season, it had reached 75.1%; the multi-annual average – last 5 years – is 72.5%.
The largest oilseed producing state, Mato Grosso, harvested 99.5% from its area, compared to 98.3% in the week ending March 18. On the same date in 2021, the harvest had reached 98.0%; the average for the last 5 years is 98.5%.
Soybean farmers in Paraná harvested 85.0% of the estimated area for the state, growth of 8.0 pp in one week; the multi-year average for the week analyzed is 87.8%.

In Mato Grosso do Sul, the harvest reached 97.5%, compared to the average of the last 5 years of 97.7%. In Bahia, work reached 80.0% of the projected area, an increase of 15.0 pp in one week. In Tocantins, 98.0%; the multi-year average for the state is 55.0%. In São Paulo, work reached 85.0% of the estimated area, an increase of 10.0 pp in 7 days.
