The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded an increase of 1.25 cents in March/17 contracts on Tuesday (06.12), closing at US$ 3.6050 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT closed the session with valuations between 0.75 and 1.50 points.
After strong increases at the opening of the week, the North American corn market recorded a session of slight gains in the main futures prices. International demand for US cereal remains strong, but gains are limited due to the conclusion of the record harvest in the 2016/17 harvest.
