Last Tuesday (08/10) two congresses that deal with specific niches in agribusiness: the CNMA (National Congress of Women in Agribusiness) and the YAMI (Youth Agribusiness Movement International – International Congress of Young People in Agribusiness).
The CNMA was in its 4th edition and had several stands aimed at women in agribusiness, arenas covering the most varied themes (Cotton, Coffee, Meat, Grains, Sugar-energy, Forests, Milk and Horticulture). It also presented debates on the topics: Governance, The voice of the leadership of Brazil's production chains Brazil's major global clients, in addition, cases about women in the area were presented and moved everyone.
At this congress, the book “Mulheres do Agronegócio” was launched in the presence of the 4 authors who lived this experience and the Women of Agro Award was presented, honoring all those who make a difference within this segment, with innovative ideas.
YAMI was in its first edition in Brazil, showing young people linked to agribusiness the ideals of entrepreneurship, how to follow in the footsteps of family succession and align everything with sustainability and innovative ideas.
There were also lectures and debates on the topics, in addition to the presence of startups so that networking was even greater.
Both events were held at the Transamerica Expo Center and were attended by more than 2000 people.
