Italy is working to turn the ports of Trieste and Venice into logistics and port hubs for Ukraine amid shipping difficulties in the Black Sea.

“There is a part of Ukraine that has not been occupied and must continue production. We are working on the creation of infrastructure, railway and port logistics corridor. This corridor will allow the ports of Trieste and Venice to become a logistics and port platform for Ukraine, as its seas are blocked”, said the Minister of Entrepreneurship and National Production of Italy, Adolfo Urso, this Sunday (5).
