On the 8th and 9th of March, DATAGRO, an independent agricultural consultancy, will hold, in partnership with Santander, in Ribeirão Preto (SP), the seventh edition of the Santander DATAGRO Opening of Harvest Sugarcane, Sugar and Ethanol event, a hybrid event that marks the beginning of annual planning for the Brazilian sugar-energy sector.
With lectures that address all strategic technical factors for the production and commercialization of sugar and ethanol for next year's harvest in Brazil, participants will be able to choose to participate in person or follow the event broadcast online. Participants include: political leaders, banks, industry, traders, input companies, plants, cooperatives and rural producers.
For the first time, registration for the event covers two days of programming. The first day's agenda, which explores market topics, features panels of estimates for the 2023/24 harvest, global trade outlook for the sugar market, marketing of bagasse on the stock exchange, as well as a relationship cocktail to the sound of singer Leo Chaves, who stars in the 10th anniversary campaign of Koppert, a leading company in Brazil and the world in biological control.
The second day's agenda explores topics of interest to the agricultural sector in the morning and, in the afternoon, presents topics related to the industrial sector, featuring panels on crop systematization, design and planning methods, practices of irrigation, fertilization and use of drones, opportunities in renewable energy in the sugar-energy sector, between others.
