PRF has lifted more than a thousand closures since the demonstrations began.
The Federal Highway Police (PRF) reported that, in the early afternoon of today (7), there were records of two blockages and eight closures on the highways under its jurisdiction. In total, 1,048 demonstrations have already been broken up by teams of highway police officers.


The two blockages were recorded in the Mato Grosso city of Campos de Júlio and in Rio do Sul, Santa Catarina.

On Sunday (30), after the announcement of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's victory in the second round of elections for the Presidency of the Republic, groups of truck drivers began blockades at several points on federal highways.
Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), ordered on Monday (31) the total unblocking of highways that registered stoppages.
