Cotton lint prices, which had been falling since the beginning of September, reacted in the Brazilian market. According to Cepea researchers, support comes from the firmer position of sellers and the increase in export parity.
According to data from the Cepea newsletter, in addition, some buyers have already signaled offers at higher prices for higher quality lots, reinforcing the movement of reaction in spot values.

In general, agents are looking to execute contracts with deliveries scheduled for the coming months and for the first half of 2023. There is also interest in forward contracts for shipments in the second half of next year, already involving next season's plume.
