According to a survey by Scot Consultoria, in the Campinas-SP region, corn grain is priced at R$94.50 per 60-kilo bag (5/10), a decrease of 4.5% in thirty days.
The main downward factors are: greater domestic availability, with the conclusion of the second crop corn harvest in Brazil (2020/21 harvest); rising Brazilian imports and the beginning of the corn harvest in the United States (2021/22 harvest), which has put pressure on cereal prices on the international market.

Regarding Brazilian imports, the average daily volume in September/21 was 19.40 thousand tons of cereal, 176.5% more than the average for September 2020 (Secex).
For the short term, the bias is downward for corn prices in the domestic market.
However, the exchange rate deserves attention, because if the dollar firms up against the real, the tendency is for more sustained prices for commodities agricultural in general.
Another point of attention is in relation to the sowing process of the Brazilian grain harvest (summer harvest or first harvest).
