Since the 1st edition of the CNMA (National Congress of Agribusiness Women), Aboissa has been an official supporter of the event, which prioritizes female relevance for the innovative, profitable, sustainable and ethical advancement of agribusiness. There you will have the chance to meet with women from the sector across the country to exchange ideas and experiences, always focusing on the role of Woman in Brazilian Agribusiness.
Inspired by experiences of overcoming and leadership of women in agribusiness, a group of four executives came together to write a book about female success stories in the sector. The volume will be launched in partnership with the publisher Livramento during the fourth edition of CNMA, on October 8th and 9th.
“The book is a pioneer in the sector and aims to address, in a didactic way, without losing technical depth, important topics related to agribusiness and how female leaders in the sector faced difficulties during their successful journey”, explains lawyer Ticiane Figueirêdo, one of the co-authors of the publication.
Family succession administrator and consultant Mariely Biff also explains that the book can be used by men. “So that they can learn about stories of female overcoming in agriculture and can make the work environment more harmonious and equal every day”, he adds.
In addition to Figueirêdo and Biff, the journalist Roberta Páffaro, director of market development for Latin America at CME Group, and lawyer Andrea Cordeiro, commercial director of Grupo Labhoro and founder of the blog “Mulheres do Agronegócio Brasil”, participated in the writing of the book. .
“We are very happy with the first results of the book. All of this is proof that women in agribusiness have been conquering an unprecedented space in the country, but we know that the challenges are still great”, explains Cordeiro.
